Damage reduction

Every overdose is one too many. One of the most important things we do is to make life safer for drug users. We do this through a number of injury prevention and overdose prevention measures.

We safeguard and promote overdose prevention work and substitution treatment. The Association for Humane Drug Policy has initiated several overdose prevention measures such as the distribution of user equipment and access to naloxone, in addition to harm-reduction measures that involve safer consumption of drugs, thus contributing to a national overdose strategy.
